Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer is mainly copolymerized by unsaturated monomers under the action of initiators, and the side chains with active groups are grafted onto the main chain of the polymer, so that it has the functions of high efficiency, controlling slump loss and shrinkage resistance, and not affecting the coagulation and hardening of cement. Polycarboxylic acid high-performance water reducer is completely different from naphthalene sulfonate formaldehyde condensate NSF and melamine sulfonate formaldehyde condensate MSF water reducer. It can make mortar concrete have high fluidity even at low dosage, and has low viscosity and slump retention performance at low water-cement ratio. It has relatively better compatibility with different cements and is an indispensable material for high-strength and high-fluidity mortar concrete.
Polycarboxylate Superplasticizer is the third generation of high-performance chemical water reducer developed after wood calcium and naphthalene water reducer. Compared with traditional water reducer, it has the following advantages:
a. High water reduction rate: The water reduction rate of polycarboxylic acid high-performance water reducer can reach 25-40%.
b. High strength growth rate: very high strength growth rate, especially high early strength growth rate.
c. Excellent slump retention: Excellent slump retention performance can ensure minimal time loss of concrete.
d. Good homogeneity: The prepared concrete has very good fluidity, is easy to pour and compact, and is suitable for self-leveling and self-compacting concrete.

f. Wide adaptability: It has good dispersibility and plasticity retention for various pure silicon, general silicon, slag silicate cement and various admixtures to make concrete.
g. Low shrinkage: It can effectively improve the volume stability of concrete, and the 28d shrinkage of naphthalene-based water reducer concrete is reduced by about 20%, which effectively reduces the harm caused by concrete cracking.
